Among the many product launches taking place at CES Sony has demonstrated a jaw-dropping prototype of a 27 inch OLED TV. The mega-screen has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and the panel is less than 10mm deep!

Sony’s CES show site has reported news that VOIP support will soon be added to the PSP handheld device. Nikkei Net (registration required) is also reporting that the Skype VOIP service will be available on PSP some time this month! … but it’s not all good news…

The PS2 is now seven years old and has had a few reincarnations in that time so in an effort to keep the platform relevant Sony have decided to give it another one. The new model features a new design and a price drop in 2008.
This is Sony’s new product line creating a whole new category of TV products. It’s called OLED for Organic Light Emitting Diode. Although OLED screens have been available since 2004 thay have only been viable for smaller sizes and so have been limited to mobile prodicts.
