Canon Rebel T1i entry level DSLR offers video recording with compromise

Canon’s new Rebel DSLR (EOS 500D in Europe and Asia) is, on the face of it, a versatile machine with a specification that’s enough for most serous amateurs including 15.1 megapixel sensor and a video recording facality but a number of restrictions have been made to squeeze this into a $800 package.


 
 
 


 
 


Leica launches 37.5 megapixel S2 DSLR camera

Leica has now launched the S2 which contrary to its 35mm format appearance sports a 37.5MP CCD sensor — 56% larger than a full-frame SLR camera. Despite its extraordinary specification it fits comfortably in the hand.


 
 
 


 
 


Lumix launches DMC-G1: the World’s smallest 4/3 format camera
