Alienware to benefit from Dell XPS phase-out

Dell is about to phase out four XPS gaming-orientated systems in an effort to prevent cannibalizing sales of systems from newly-acquired Alienware. This move reinforces the restructuring going on at Dell now that they have fallen behind HP in overall PC sales and in the consumer market where they’re struggling even to make a profit.
