Sony A300 and A350 entry-level DSLRs
Sony has at last joined the PMA DSLR band-wagon releasing details of the A300 and A350. The entry-level A300has a 10.2 MP sensor (the same as the A200) and a 3fps frame rate. The body has stabilization as opposed to Nikon’s and Canon’s lens-based systems. Perhaps the most innovative feature is a funky two-way tilting LCD screen for live view.

The A350 boasts similar features but also a 14.2 MP sensor which slows down the burst rate a little to 2.5 fps.

The A350 specs:
- 14.2 Megapixel sensor
- Image Stabilization
- 18-70 f3.5-4.5 kit lens
- 2.5 fps burst shooting
- Compact Flash
- 2-way tilt LCD display (2.7”)
Both models will be available in March 2008 for £402 ($799, €538) (body only) or £452 ($899, €605) (with kit lens)
