Mozilla negotiates Firefox bundling on mobile devices
Mozilla wants to repeat the success of Firefox, the web browser that was launched in 2004, with an new version for mobile devices. Although the development seems not to have been completed, it is known that informal negotiations have already started with mobile network operators. Firefox Mobile is scheduled to be launched by the end of the year and the inaugural version he will be compatible with the Linux and Windows Mobile operating systems.

Firefox Mobile distinguishes itself its rivals as it is completely free. This can also be seen as a disadvantage since it prevents the mobile network operators from controlling the services used by their clients and thereby increase their earnings.
Consumers don’t think of installing custom software on their cellphones the way they do on their computers so initial installation on the mobile device as it is provided to the consumer is an important target.
Mozilla is working with Intel and ARM to improve its compatibility with most of the architectures of mobile gadgets and smartphones in the market.
