Nexx NF-590 aims high at the iPod nano but falls short
You’re looking at the Nexx NF-590 until now never seen outside Asia which is ultimately intended to take on the iPod nano.
The NF-950 includes:
- 1.5 inch OLED scree
- MP3/WMA player
- AVI/MPEG video player (also JPEG images and ebooks)
- 41 x 72 x 5.6 mm
The N-950 will be priced at:
- 1 GB: £56.76 ($115.93, €82.00)
- 2 GB: £62.30 ($127.25, €90.00)
- 4 GB: £83.75 ($171.08, €121.00)
There seem to be a few factors working against the Nexx NF-590. The screen, though pretty seems small (1.5 inches against 2 inches for the iPod nano. On top of this the capacity is lower that the iPod’s 4GB or 8GB offerings. Would anyone seriously give up an iPod nano for this?
Very much a poor man’s iPod!
