Witcher Enhanced Edition announced by CD Projekt RED
February 19th, 2008 by SteveThe enhanced version of Witcher has been promised since the launch of the original version to rave and critical reviews will be available in May and is promised to be “devoid of all of the major criticisms levied at the original release”. Expect bug fixes, enhanced stability and playability improvements.
The enhancements will also include:
- Completely redone translation
- Hundreds of new animated gestures and facial animation
- New lip-sync systems
The scheduled launch date for the The Witcher — Enhanced Edition is the 16th of May.

So.. this will be free to everyone who bought the first buggy version, right?
Yeah right
Pretty lame that they recognize all the bad things they did, then come out with a ‘new’ version that fixes them all instead of offering it in an update pack.
Hope I’m wrong about it, but we’ll see.
