Lost Planet comes to Earth in February 2008
Playstation 3 users will be blessed with the arrival of Lost Planet in February next year according to Capcom at their London Gamer’s Day event. The PS3 version will include an online multiplayer system which will allow up to sixteen players to play through PSN.
This game has been surprisingly well received on the Xbox360 platform where it faces more competition. Playstation users will receive all the downloadable content and bonus characters that has been made available to Xbox users in one complete package. What’s more, the PS3 version will also star extra characters - including Mega Man, Frank (Dead Rising) and Jo - previously only available in the PC edition.
The plot
Somewhere on an ice-cold planet live the Akrid, enormous insects. The protagonist, played by the popularJapanese actor Lee Byung-Hun suffers from amnesia and can only just remember how his Father was assasinated by the Akrid. Wayne decides that his must take revenge and joins a group of pirates who are fighting a permanent battle against incoming aliens and other people.
