Toshiba’s Storage Device division has announced in a press release the extension of its external media portfolio with three new eye-catching devices. Storage capacities of 160 GB, 250 GB and 320 GB are on offer and come in three colours: “Gecko Green”, “Hot Rod Red”, and “Carbon Grey”.
Toshiba claims that the drives benefit from an extremely sturdy housing and a rubber base to give it a firm grip on your desktop. They are also small enough and of such a shape that they fit comfortably in the palm of the hand.
The drives are all connected to a PC or Mac by means of a USB 2.0 cable. No price or availability information is currently available.
Toshiba says:
” External non removable disks are currently as important as mobile phones. For users they are not necessarily fashion accessories, but have their individual style.”
Martin Larsson, vice-president and general manager, Toshiba Europe storage device division says.
“Our current drive assemblies show how the latest external disk technology can be combined successfully with innovative Design. Toshiba is therefore continuously innovating.”
