This is Sony’s new product line creating a whole new category of TV products. It’s called OLED for Organic Light Emitting Diode. Although OLED screens have been available since 2004 thay have only been viable for smaller sizes and so have been limited to mobile prodicts.

Sony suggests iTunes movies rival

Today during comments to the press Shigenori Yoshida suggested that Sony may build a rival to Apple’s iTunes movie store making no suggestion as to how certain this prospect was. The interesting point about this anouncement is that none of the following Sony devices can play copy-protected movie formats:

Video Walkman players
PlayStation 3
PSP
