Mythos launches new Olon speakers
Mythos Audio has revealed its latest speaker, the Olon (”the whole” in ancient Greek). The new speakers occupy a position in the Mythos range just below the Aennaon. Prices are expected to be high.
The Olon’s cabinet is constructed from many layers of stacked birchwood resulting in a striking and unique appearance. The stepping effect is a result of providing proper time alignment for the drivers.
The drivers consist of a Mundorf Air motion transformer tweeter and two ScanSpeak midranges in a D’Appolito array. The bass driver is a Visaton and is assisted by a large front port. Mundorf also supplies the crossover components and internal wiring
