Yet another ultrathin Mac Sub-Notebook concept

Another photo-forecast has been published promoting an idea of how Apple’s much-rumoured sub-notebook might look - and it’s quite a departure both from the usual design of Apple products and from the specs circulating the blogosphere for this potential Apple uber-gadget.

This follows indications that hip hop star Just Blaze has spilled the beans on the new gizmo after been promised one for performing at a recent Apple Christmas party.

Some kind of announcement of the device was predicted to be made in the summer, possibly at the Worldwide Developer’s conference. This never happened but Apple fans will still be baiting their breath for an announcement at the MacWorld show in the middle of this month.

If the sub-notebook does surface during January it is likely to differ from the image above which clearly shows a DVD facility. It si more likey that the sub-notebook will sacrifice DVD support in the pursuit of its slim-line shape and as a power-saving strategy and be designed to be networked to other machines to gain access to media.
